Okay today brought more sewing projects and some fused glass pendants. I made 2 and my other half made about 6 or 8. I was a bit distracted by other things which is not unusual. Wait...am I rambling. Forgive me. More sewing projects tomorrow. Waiting for some materials in the mail to finish things up and then they'll go up on Etsy. That's all I'm saying about that.
Like stitch markers? I put a bunch up on Etsy last night. What do you think about these? It's a set of 5 markers - 4 monkeys and one bunch of bananas. Love these little guys!
You know I have to include cats! This is a sweet little sampling of all the cat beads I have. These are the sitting variety, all Czech pressed glass, a set of 5 - 3 large and 2 small. Meow.
Bet you've never seen these beads. Found these last year after Halloween. They are green pressed glass spider beads. Pretty cool. Five in this set of markers.
Loved the Phat Fiber goodies shown in the video this month with the theme, Day of the Dead! I contributed 50 plus stitch markers and 30 or so orifice hooks (spinning hooks). Here's what those looked like.
The markers here are the removable variety, which I've not made for the box before. I like the result. The lever backs used here were an antique copper. Went well with the bronze beads that sit above and below the spoooooky skull beads! There were just a few ceramic owl beads and glass black cats in the mix, but mostly the small white ceramic skull beads. I've added a couple sets of these on my Etsy shop, too.
This is just a sample of some of the hooks in the sampler boxes this time. There were others with larger loops at the top. All were made with these black and white skull beads. There are a few of these on my Etsy shop, just added last night.
I'm also working on more orifice hooks. These will have JBird's glass beads on them. Pictures coming soon! I'll have to commission some more from him because I think I used up all the bigger ones on the hooks you'll see soon.
It's time to call it a day. I can here my other half snoring, so he's called it a day already. And Walter J. Cat has selected my chair for his nappy time. Later....
