Bead Challenge Completion and Give Away!

Yay! Completion of bead challenge - you may remember I posted an image of a bowl of beads that I had challenged myself to turn into earrings.  Well I did it, with just a few stragglers left over so I'm calling it a successful venture!  Here's a few of them. I did add some other elements to make things work, various jump rings and rings....I've added a little commentary about each below the image.  And look below for my Giveaway!  Details on that below!

Lilac with an earthy trim - table cut beads with amethyst bell flowers. Looks great with the copper don't you think!

Aqua colored Czech glass leaves in two sizes dangling from Tierra Cast hammered rings.

Mixed metals.

These beads are among the ones I purchased back in 2004.  They are lamp work beads and are etched, so they have a nice frosty look. Added a spiral below.

I used these red daisy disc beads in lots of work, especially some of the Christmas charm bracelets I made years ago!

These are my favorites! I used some gunmetal large jump rings and twisted them, some cool blue glass rings and loads of little millefiori beads.  I love the color mix of these little beads.

Well, maybe these are close to being my favorites too.  Also millefiori beads - these are pillow beads and picked up all the colors in them with the Swarovski crystal dangles below.

Sweet little pale blue AB stars.

Some favorite colors - green and purple! I love the rings on these - they have a tiny little heart pattern that wraps around the entire ring.

Hodgepodge!

These have bead caps that were taken off some old jewelry, so they are vintage, but the flowers are unique in themselves.  Reminds me of orange sherbet!

Also two more favorites (above) and (below) as I used the twisted jumping style, this time with copper rings. I love the little butterflies above - crystal with gold detail. The leaves below are two toned - copper on one side and teal on the other.

I even made some stitch markers with some of the beads. I used lever backs to make them adjustable.

These were made with some cool cube shaped millefiori beads which had holes drilled at an angle.

This set of 5 includes all the colors of some chrysanthemum beads I had in my collection.  They had large holes so I added matching Swarovski crystals for some sparkle!

A few Czech glass coin beads and one lone tulip bead.

Gorgeous teal crystals are set off nicely with the gold lever backs.

So I'll have all these up on Etsy for sale. Keep checking, it's going to take a little while to get them all listed! I think there are 15 or 16 pairs!

To celebrate the completion of my challenge, I'm giving away a pair of earrings - one of the copper twisted jump ring style pairs!  Here they are, with a little bit of a close up!

If you want to enter for this Give Away, First - find them on my Facebook page (Like my page) AND comment on them ("I like these" or "cool" or something like that), then come back and comment on the blog.  I know I should make this easier, but this is a give away after all!
