Vacation

Okay, my vacation is over. Back to the bead biz.  What excitement on the trip - car broke down, had to get a new AC on Greta the Volvo. She is now a much more comfortable ride.  Got to go to Parkville for my Florilegium fix...and dinner at Cinzettis was awesome - there was this chocolate volcano cake (small muffin size) that was too good for words. Lots of wonderful Italian dishes - pasta was out of this world.
Taught a couple classes in St. Joseph, MO, at Rolling Hills Library and the Savannah branch library as well.  I think everyone had fun and learned a few things. Some photos below of the action! JBird was wonderful as usual helping the beaders.

Very excited to say that I have a serger in layaway at Calico Country in Carbondale. I've always wanted one.  I will get classes with the deal and am looking forward to that! I used to sew a lot and am getting the bug again. I have a trunk full of fabric that will keep me busy for a while....

So do you remember my new challenge to clear off another tray of beads? I've not even started on it, so I'm pushing it up to Sept. 1 -  I better get busy.  Anyone reading this who has a similar hoard that needs to be cleared - get busy and start beading.  Take pictures of the finished creations and I'll add them to a special album on my facebook page.
